The One Where I Ask You to Praise Me

OK, not just me.  Praise us. By now many of you have picked up a copy of our book, The IT Girl’s Guide to Blogging with Moxie.  For those who have read it, If you haven’t done so already, would you mind adding your review to Amazon? We’d sure appreciate it.

And, if you’ve recently snapped a photo of yourself with our book, have tested out any of the cocktails or snack recipes and want to take photo, please submit it to our Show Your Moxie! pool on Flickr.  All the cool kids are doing it.  Or something.

If you’re one of the fine folks who bundled your purchase with The IT Girl’s Guide to Becoming a Web Goddess by Camille McCue, as shown on our Amazon listing, please note that book is not slated for release just yet (I suspect it’ll be getting a new cover, too).  We definitely think you should order it — it’s an IT Girl’s book, after all! — but for some reason, Amazon suggests readers purchase them together, despite one not being available yet.  We’re investigating this, but it may hold up your shipment, since to get the free shipping on Amazon, you have to wait until all the items in the order are in stock.  We’ve heard a couple reports of this, so we wanted to pass it on.

But, if you’re looking to pick up our book and another so you can get the super saver shipping, may we suggest Lisa‘s book, Wordpress for Dummies?  We discuss Wordpress quite a bit as a blogging option in our book (in addition to generally being “blog fabulous"), so it may be a great pair to bundle together if you decide to use Wordpress for your new blog or want to soup up your existing Wordpress blog.

Thus endeth my PR for the day. I’m seriously under some deadlines so off I go.  This will be a good week even if that means I have open a bottle of wine every damn day. Do you hear me, Monday? DO YOU?
