Sometimes, WordPress Makes Me Curse…

...and that’s why I needed this book!  Lisa Sabin-Wilson, one of our trusted colleagues and friends has written the book on WordPress, literally.

WordPress for Dummies is my new bible.  It sits on my desk within easy reach because I think I’ve referenced it about 30 times since I received my copy.  It’s pretty common knowledge that we’re not primarily WordPress designers, we’re Expression Engine girls. And while we have a working knowledge of WP and use it on occasion, Kathy and I both are really intrigued to learn more.  Lisa, on the other hand, is quite the WP guru, so I’m thrilled to have her in a book to break things down for me when I get stuck.  Or, she can respond to my harried instant messages with “Look on page 327” or whatever.  And she has, which made me laugh out loud.  haha!

It also warmed the cockles of my heart to see that Lisa featured Moxie Design Studios in her book under her recommended blog designers (page 236, I believe), as well as a very gracious and sweet dedication. Thank you, Lisa!    I hope you go to SXSW so that we can take another pickle picture!
