Sending Up a Big Pink Flare

I know I’ve been quiet, but I’ve been scrambling to stay on schedule so I can go to SXSW next weekend guilt-free. I accidentally overbooked myself (I seriously didn’t think everyone was going to accept my bid) so it’s been nose to the grindstone lately.
If you’re planning on being at SXSW and would like to say hi, we have a 20-minute presentation/reading of Blogging with Moxie on Saturday, March 8 at 11:30 on the Day Stage. We’ll be chatting a bit about who we are and what we do, but mostly focusing on who our book is for and what it covers. We’ll also be having a drawing featuring goodies from our friends at TheBar.com, possibly Jaqua Beauty and maybe, just maybe… a signed copy of our book. 
Oooo… aaaahh....
Of course, if you don’t win that, you should mosey over to the South by Bookstore where we’ll happily sign your book with something cheeky. And, if Kathy’s not full of Bloody Marys, it might even be legible. I kid, I kid! She prefers mimosas.
Anyway, please come see us! If you’ve got a panel conflict and can’t attend, just look for the grinning blond and brunette with the pink accoutrement. We’re hard to miss like that. Plus, we have name tags.
In other news, Ms. Pants pointed out to me today that we’ve got an ad banner on Perez Hilton’s site. (Lisa, so do you on Page 2 if you didn’t see it.) Perez Hilton and 90% of gossip sites suck your life’s soul straight from the core of your being, but I won’t pretend I don’t ride that trainwreck from time to time. Damn gossip for being so tempting and delicious. But I digress. Perez Hilton gets more traffic than the Autobahn, so I’m very excited to see that ad there. Woo!

Ok… so I’m not Perez Hilton, but the review I promised is finally up. You both did a fabulous job writing this book. Fantastic read. If I was attending SXSW, I’d definitely be stopping by for an autograph.
