I have been putting off getting a real grown-up professional-type office chair for a long time now and I finally just bit the bullet and bought one this weekend. And I have one thing to say:
Aaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. *sigh* My back has never felt better. It’s got levers, knobs, pumps and sort of makes me feel like I should tell someone to open the bombay doors. And the seat… oooohhh, the seat. It’s like squadron of tiny cherubs is holding up my buttocks, anticipating my every move.
I love you, New Office Chair. Will you be my Valentine?
Speaking of Valentines, I was watching Rachael Ray last week and was presented with this item:

”Back massager.” Mmm hmm. With a creepy Mickey Mouse fist? *shudder*

Ooh, congrats on the new chair.
I’m jealous of the new chair. I think a new chair is on my list of preferred biz expenses this year. My old one is just losing it’s touch (though adding a massager thingie - not a mickey mouse fist - just might help to postpone the new chair a bit.

I’m also jealous of your new chair - the hydraulics in it are shot so I have to start off with it so high my feet dangle and as the day draws to a close I’m practically sitting on the floor. It’s quite annoying.

Now that is just rude. Still, I want one .....
Yeah, gotta get me a proper chair too. I’ve been thinking about going full-time with an exercise ball, but haven’t really taken the plunge yet.

So what was the chair brand? Allsteel? HON? Paoli? Gunlocke? All of these companies are subsidiaries of the company I work for HNI Corporation. I will say that the Allsteek #19 chair is one of the most comfortable I’ve EVER sat in.
