Everybody’s Got One & They All Stink

After blogging and/or having an internet presence for ten years, I’ve learned to not take things as personally as I once did. But it never ceases to amaze me that people seem to think they have some kind of jurisdiction over what content I post, like I have some kind of obligation to entertain them.  I especially like it when total strangers threaten to stop reading me, following me, subscribing to me, whatever.   I’m sorry, Total Stranger, your opinion doesn’t define me.  But thanks for being kind of a shrew… at least I was entertained.

What the hell is wrong with people?

I blurred her name because I am not a jerk.

  1. You’re not a jerk…however, I wish you had posted her name! I’d happily visit her flickr page to comment rudely about her ‘not cool’ life.

Ok, maybe I wouldn’t. But, I’d think REALLY hard about doing it.

Anyway – - it’s your life, it is your bun. Post what gives you joy. For every unnecessarily rude witch who threatens to unsuscribe…you have probably earned ten more readers/viewers who love seeing Lulu. It’s easy to see that Lulu has made you extremely happy – - just like I feel about my evil doxies of doom.

    • It’s not hard to find it. I left her comment up. ;-) I was going to block her, but I’d rather just torture her with Lulu photos until she unsubscribes. That’s more fun. hehe!

And I still love Doxies! I want one someday… I just can’t have a dog in this building, so Lulu gives me my furry fix.

    • Well, I don’t know about *that*, but don’t let ‘em get you down. :) I used to take it personally until I realized people who leave comments like that are generally wankers dissatisfied with their own lives.

  2. The saga continues… I’m trying to decide if I’m the one being rude now… if I should just let it go. But it’s not like she apologized for being rude. She explained her rudeness and then proceeded to condescend. Sheesh!

  3. Well, she did say just one more. So maybe that means you need to post hundreds more because it’s more than just one?

    Heh.

Put that in your spoon and smoke it, Joon.

  4. I think the question here is what kind of person gets feisty over a bunny? That’s… not normal. Bunnies have an almost universal connotation of pleasantness…. from sweet and innocent to the charmingly naughty.

It’s like someone getting grumpy over too many rainbows. Who’d have thunk that was even possible?
