I agree with Deltus. They should fix the cords. They do that with everything else in creation, printer cords with those power bulbs about a foot from the end…

I was going to recommend the power squid. And you could just make yourself a wooden foot support closed on all sides with a small, drilled out “mouse-hole” on the bottom edge of one side and put the surge protector underneath, letting the cord come out of the drilled area (so the entire unit sits flush to the floor).

Yeah, trying to design a one-size-fits-all cord concealer won’t work out well. I thought it sounded too good to be true.

I wish equipment manufacturers would stop having the adaptor thing actually BE the plug. That’s just assy. Have a couple more feet of cord coming out the other end, fercrissakes.

for a couple few bucks, these things are great way to avoid the brick
blocking for your power strip. Just do a Google search for “power strip cord saver”
However, I’m not sure how or if it would work for your new device.
But, it might be worth a shot.
