oddly enough, mochacino conjures up hazy memories of “You’ve Got Mail” and Tom Hanks…that whole bit in the movie about Starbucks. anyway. I think Nora Ephron ripped it from Clueless. bitch.

There’s an iced mochacchino on the menu at a coffee shop near me that’s independently owned. Their version is just a mocha blended with vanilla ice cream to make it thick and frothy before being poured over ice. I think it was just thrown together out of boredom, really.

never had one, but i do know that back in 1876 my great grandmother in italy used to… okay, i had you going, right? i don’t know where the heck it came from, but i found a simpler recipe that just calls for espresso with foamed milk and chocolate syrup. less production, but whew, that puppy might have you bouncing off the wall for days!!
