I had a friend from school who had two joined toes - I bet she hates toe socks more than you.

It makes me sad that there is so little love for toe socks. Very sad. I used to have a whole army of toe socks (even though I hardly EVER wear socks of any flavor) but then we had an incident with, um, laundry being left outside, um, and um, well.. There were lots of victims and I lost most of my army.

I’ve been meaning to build my army again, but seeing as I never wear socks anyway (and we live in a COLD climate) I figured I might as well use the money on something else. Like chocolate!

Toe socks are just wrong on so many levels. My elementary school librarian wore them with sandals, every day of the year… she also had 2 pet ducks she dressed up in little costumes and walked on a leash around the city.

See? That’s the kind of people that wear toe socks.

Oh no, the toes cannot be separated under ANY circumstances other than for pedicures and the occasional odd pair of flip-flops that causes some separation between the big toe and the next toe in line. Even that is minor, compared to the separation of toes within toe socks.

I can’t even stand to look at toe socks. They are so unnatural. Ew!

Toe socks are goofy ! My sisters used to wear them on occasion when we were kids, but I thought they looked way too silly. I prefer dressy socks, personally.

Not to sleep in, just to be stylin’ and profilin’ !!

@mama: I wanted to be one, too! The initial thought was, “well, my toes would be even warmer and how’s that bad?” but yeah, putting them on is WEIRD. Unless they’re really worn out, wash ‘em and give ‘em to Good Will. I dare say here’s a hobo who needs some toe socks.

i have a confession to make: i so wanted to be a toe sock person. i really did. i actually own a couple pair of them and boy, are those socks uncomfortable!! all this fabric bunched up between each toe and then smashed into a shoe is not a good feeling. and my son is afraid of them as if mama’s stripey, colorful toes are waiting to attack him or something. so basically i need to just trash them and get over it.

I love woobies. My cats also love my woobie robe. It’s ultrasoft, as you know.

As for toe socks, I send them to people because they freak me out. You know me. It makes sense.
