After the Final Rose. How Dramatic.

Well. That was juicy. Where do I even begin? OH! Well, first of all, I discovered it’s only 6 weeks, not 12. Six weeks!
Anyway, I’d like to amend my judgment of DeAnna. It took a lot to sit up there and listen to that tripe and still keep her dignity. Plus, she looked really cute in that dress.
I don’t get it, either. I don’t get it. He clearly still has feelings for her. On one hand, I can understand where he’s coming from. We’ve all been in relationships that look great on paper, but there’s just something missing that you can’t explain. It doesn’t mean you don’t care about the person or that you hate them or never loved them. It just means there’s something missing and no amount of ‘perfect’ can make it exist. Sucks, but I get that. Yet, on the other hand, it really did seem like he’s into her, so… I don’t get it. But, whatever… it’s not my life, so that’s his issue.
All in all, I still respect his decision, though I think he could have done it with a little more class. He could have just given DeAnna the rose, explaining that he cared for her, but wasn’t ready to propose. Then, if need be, they could have broken up quietly after the taping. I don’t think he needed to be quite so abrupt and dramatic with it (including that little walk around the park he did), especially the part where he casually mentions that he’d just sent Jenni home, giving DeAnna a brief glimmer of joy before yanking the rug out from under her.
I felt really bad for both of the girls, who looked to be hurting quite a lot still. Eventually they’ll get over it and have a great story to tell their friends about the bullet they dodged. But the Bachelor may want to have that Oedipus complex looked at by a professional.

I am Tina and I admit it…I watch The Bachelor. I am also totally confused. I think DeAnna has every reason to be confused by the whole mess…I am too!
So, okay, I can dig it…he didn’t have butterflies. I totally respect that he didn’t propose to someone…anyone…if he wasn’t totally in it. Good for him. And, from a viewer standpoint, that’s good TV too, and the right decision. However, he seems TOTALLY into her! He said she has every quality he’d look for in a wife. He thinks about her every day. So, what the hell? Aren’t those the things you look for? I don’t think fireworks LITERALLY spark, Brad, when two people fall in love! What is he waiting for?
And why let her go completely? I mean, how well do any two people know each other when they’ve been taken out of normal life for 6 weeks and left to “fall in love”? That is not an accurate representation of what their life would be like together, and for him to not even give it a go in his world seems really fishy to me. That says to me that he doesn’t feel the way he did, at least not all the way. Because even if you weren’t totally sure after 6 weeks, you’d still want to see how that would pan out and you wouldn’t just give up completely. I think he lead them on and said too much, especially to DeAnna. And THAT SUCKS!
Oh, okay, I’ll weigh in. Haven’t seen the show, don’t know them, but if he’s into her, if she was the best choice of, what, 25 different choices? Then they should date more. For him to completely break it off is stupid.
Dude, life ain’t all rainbows and fairytales and sunshine. You have a wonderful woman whom you have feelings for, and who seems to have feelings for you. You don’t toss that away. Idiot.
Yea, I just don’t get how chicks can think they’re in love within 6 weeks…it just seems weird to me.
