It’s a Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood

My British neighbor across the street is outside right now watering her lawn or otherwise gardening while singing at the top of her lungs. The breeze off the water carries most of it away so I can’t quite make out what she’s singing, I just get little accented snippets wafting in from time to time. That’s awesome.
(The comment form was inadvertently inaccessible on this entry for whatever reason, but I’ve since fixed it. Thanks for bringing it to my attention, Deltus!)

MY BABY TAKES THE MORNIN’ TRAIN
HE WORKS FROM 9 TO 5 AND THEN
HE TAKES ANOTHER HOME AGAIN
TO FIND ME WAITING FOR HIM!
*pulls some weeds*
Lovely. Smashing.
Deltus, when you’re done over there, how ‘bout you do my lawn?
I am happy to see you blogging agian and this new layout is awesome. Very well done.
She’d be “singing in the rain” once I put my sprinklers on
I’m evil!!
HA! I don’t think I could help myself… If she’s singing that loud I’d have to find out what she’s singing.
I had a neighbor that whistled – LOUD – 24/7! I could be upstairs in the house, with the windows closed and I could still here him across the street over his lawn mower – Uggghhh it was the most annoyong thing ever.
