iPod me

  • January 13th, 2005

OK, you know this whole free iPod thing?  Well, kymberlie got a bunch of goodies, Christine got one, Don got one, Emily got one and now Kathy got one… all from this Free iPod offer. I signed up ages ago and 3 people have completed the offer. I only need 2 more people to sign up and successfully complete the offer in order for me to get my very own iPod mini to use at the gym.  Since my old mp3/CD player was shanghai’d when my car was broken into, won’t you be a doll and help a girl out? I can’t get my gym groove on without tunes!  I’m usually not one for big ad-type sign-up chain mail thingies like this, but I really, really want an iPod. And I’m so close… so close…

So, here’s the poop.  Because I want an iPod so badly, the person who completes the offer that makes me eligible for the free iPod will win a free skin of your choosing from me.  FREE. Free skin for your blog from me in exchange for signing up and completing the offer*.  Everybody wins.

One suggestion? Use gmail or some other email account you don’t mind getting spam at, as more than likely you will. That’s the only caveat, but if you use a spam-dump email account, all should be well.

Yes, I openly and shamelessly implore you. iPod for me, free skin for you. Please and thank you!

UPDATE: I’ve got all the sign-ups I needed and I have a winner. Thank you soooooo much for signing up. You guys are the BEST.

* The free skin will go to the person who makes me eligible, whomever that may be.

Next Stop: Oprah! Moxie Client on Dr. Phil!

We were super excited earlier this month when our client, Patricia of MotherinLawHell.com, told us that she was going to be on Dr. Phil’s show.  Woo!  That’s amazing to start.  But when we found out her website was going to be displayed on Dr. Phil’s “big screen” we were even more excited. National television? Syndicated even? Yes, please.

Last Friday the episode aired and I made sure to record it for posterity. Full disclosure: I don’t watch Dr. Phil often (ok, ever), but I was more than happy to watch it that day! And according to Patricia, the Dr. Phil staff “LOVE the design!” and think “it’s so FUN!”.  Yay! We’re thrilled to hear that since we pride ourselves on bold and happy designs. We do fun. Come and knock on our door, Dr. Phil’s staff. Anytime! smile

Yelp Goodness

Island Style Cafe (4/5) on Yelp

I had breakfast here with Lyn P., who recommended it and really, really enjoyed it. The place is really unassuming and since I rarely venture into Tierrasanta, I'd never have known it was there…
