Saw The Godfather and threw a charity concert.
2. Did you keep your new year;s resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
Oh, hell no. I meant to. I really did. Well, I kind of did, but I just didn’t reach my goal, but this year it will happen. You can’t rush these things.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
She did!
4. Did anyone close to you die?
No, fortunately.
5. What countries did you visit?
None. Sadly.
6. What would you like to have in 2005 that you lacked in 2004?
A smaller ass. And the ability to manage my stress.
7. What dates from 2004 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
I don’t know, August 7th seems like a good day, considering I had a horse-shaped bruise to commemorate the event. Also, when Kathy came to visit on May 14th. And February 6th when we all went to Vegas. And October 1st when mike and I moved in together.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
I don’t know, honestly. I didn’t lose my “big weight” this year—the first 75 lbs was lost in 2003. I lost about 20lbs over the course of the year. So I guess that doesn’t count. Moxie, I guess, would have to be my biggest achievement. I’ve done over 100 designs in 2004. Oh! And I paid off a lot of debt this year.
9. What was your biggest failure?
Not reaching my goal, but I don’t look at it as a failure. It’s just a journey and all that new age bullshit.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Well, I spent New Years Day 2004 horribly debilitatingly sick and coughing up blood. I’ve had the flu since then, but nothing big, no.
11. What was the best thing you bought?
My pink barbie lights.
12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
Kathy’s, for putting up with my cranky stress-out ass.
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed disgusted?
14. Where did most of your money go?
Hell if I know. Bills, bills, bills.

Gone to the gym more.
19. What do you wish you’d done less of?
eating.
20. How will you be spending New Year’s Eve?
I think at home. As far as I know, we have no plans and I don’t really enjoy the idea of going out in the rain to drive with the drunk crazies.
21. Did you fall in love in 2004?
Yes, yes I did.
22. How many one-night stands?

23. What was your favorite TV program?
America’s Next Top Trainwreck or CSI
24. Do you hate anyone now that you didn’t hate this time last year?
I don’t bother hating. I have too much good in my life to hate.

A smaller ass. Do we see a theme here?
29. What was your favorite film of this year?
Oy. I don’t know. Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle. Heh.
30. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
My birthday was an amalgam of fun and confusion and me acting like a brat and then discovering I’m acting like a brat and then eating and drinking joyously with my friends. Woo! Go 31!
31.What one thing would have made your year measurably more satisfying?
A smaller ass. *sigh*
32. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2004?
Pink. And fat pants. Dude, I don’t go outside ever. So I live like a shut-in in pajama pants that are like a size 28 (I wear a 14/16) because I refuse to spend money on new pants that no one is going to see. It’s more fun to walk around holding up my pants. Yeah.
33. What kept you sane?
Him and her and them and Ben and Jerry.
34. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
Jennifer Garner and James Spader
35. What political issue stirred you the most?
Don’t even get me started.
36. Who did you miss?
macgeezel. I miss her so.
37. Who was the best new person you met?
Christina. Ok, I technically “met” her in 2003, I think, but I didn’t get to really know her until this year. She’s one funny woman. I loves her. And she likes smooooooooooooth jaaaaaaaazzzz.
38. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2004.
To forgive is divine.
39. Quote a song lyric that sums up your year.
if love’s the truth then look, no lies!
and let me swim around your eyes
i’ve found a place i’ll never leave
shut my mouth and just believe
love is the truth i realize
not a stream of pretty lies
to use us up and waste our time
look at me with starry eyes
push me up to starry skies
there’s stardust in my head
pure and simple everytime
fresh and deep as oceans new
shiver at the sight of you
i’ll sing a softer tune
pure and simple over you
