Tenth Musee

Last night, after dinner, mike and I came home for a disco nap in preparation to go out and meet up with Lyn, Whitters and her husband.  But, alas, it didn’t pan out that way.  We called Lyn around 8pm, checking in to see what the plan was.  She was far away at a family member’s house and didn’t have Whitters’ number with her and we didn’t have it at all. And, since they’re on vacation, it’s not like they were online.  So, there you have it.  In this case, I wasn’t the cruise director (hurrah!) but I still felt bad that we didn’t get together. I’m hoping we might get a chance to see them again before they leave town.  If they don’t want to stab us in the head for standing them up.  Of course, I only assume they didn’t go out.  I’m hoping that Lyn got a hold of them.

We were exhausted anyway and I went to bed around 11pm and was up at 7am on the dot.  I’m about to go get coffee, then settle in for some work. And since it’s not officially Christmas-time, we’re going out to get Christmas lights today. woo!

Speaking of purchases, remember how I got a new phone? Well, I hate my new phone.  I’m old and set in my ways. I like the menu of my old Sanyo.  I can’t find a damn thing on this stupid phone.  There’s just too many moving parts.  I try to go to the phone book? I connect to the internet. I try to review my outgoing calls? I end up checking voice mail. Try to check voice mail? Accidentally call back someone you didn’t want to call back right then.  Grrr.

We went to the Sprint store to exchange it for the non-camera phone updated model of my old Sanyo and I suddenly became High Maintenance Picky Bitch™ and didn’t like that one either.  So, I’m getting a fancier phone. For $70 more, I can get a camera phone made by Sanyo, so the menu options will be similar and the sound and photo quality is far superior.  And it’s got speakerphone, which is nice for phone meetings and I think it might even take video. And it’s red.  Ho ho ho n’ whatnot.  I’m going back today to pick it up.  woo!  You know, the phone for the girl who doesn’t go anywhere, do anything or even need a camera phone.  Heh.
