Procrastination Station

  • October 22nd, 2004

It’s Friday and while I’m productive, I’m feeling a little procrastination-y right now. So, here: enjoy a meme, stolen from chickrawker.

Current state of things

Wearing: an olive green t-shirt that says “Here Comes Little Naked Me” in tiny letters on the front with a naked chick and “Righteous Babe Records” on the back with a pair of green plaid men’s jammie pants and mouse slippers.

Drinking: nothing, but i did just finish my Pumpkin Spice latte from 7-11

Upset that: nothing?  How bizarre.  If I have to be upset about something, it’s that I can’t take today to just lie in bed with a bunch of DVDs nursing my cramps.

Luxuriating in:
my Cinnamon Frosting Tutti Dolci body souffle.  Eat me.

Reading: Visual Quickstart Guide to PHP and Fitness Magazine

Learning: to de-stress. it’s harder than you think.

Downloading: The latest version of Mozilla, which, while I love Mozilla, is pissing me off because it keeps crashing.

Wanting: Mean Girls on DVD and $1 Blackjack

Listening to: Zero 7 and New Wave Love Song by Velvet Tongue (that song is reason alone to by the CD, I love it so.)

Next Stop: Oprah! Moxie Client on Dr. Phil!

We were super excited earlier this month when our client, Patricia of MotherinLawHell.com, told us that she was going to be on Dr. Phil’s show.  Woo!  That’s amazing to start.  But when we found out her website was going to be displayed on Dr. Phil’s “big screen” we were even more excited. National television? Syndicated even? Yes, please.

Last Friday the episode aired and I made sure to record it for posterity. Full disclosure: I don’t watch Dr. Phil often (ok, ever), but I was more than happy to watch it that day! And according to Patricia, the Dr. Phil staff “LOVE the design!” and think “it’s so FUN!”.  Yay! We’re thrilled to hear that since we pride ourselves on bold and happy designs. We do fun. Come and knock on our door, Dr. Phil’s staff. Anytime! smile

Yelp Goodness

Island Style Cafe (4/5) on Yelp

I had breakfast here with Lyn P., who recommended it and really, really enjoyed it. The place is really unassuming and since I rarely venture into Tierrasanta, I'd never have known it was there…
