Hooray!

We made it!  I (and everyone who blogged for Project Blog) made it through 24 hours of blogging every half hour! yay!

Ali and I just watched the final episode of Dead Like Me and sniveled and cried through it.  Both of us have had some serious loss in our lives and that show sometimes speaks to us more than we expect.  We’re exhausted, but are going to go have some well-deserved breakfast.  But not before we go out to our local, which opens at 6am and have ONE final glass of wine. If that doesn’t deserve a buck, I don’t know what does.

As of this entry, I’ve raised $1130 in paid donations and am waiting on $ $285 in sponsored donations.  THANK YOU. Thank you everyone who’s donated, who has read and kept me awake during this event. I appreciate it more than I can say.  If you want to read all the Project-Blog archives, all 48 of them, click here.

And with that, Project-Blog is over. Good morning, everyone!

Next Stop: Oprah! Moxie Client on Dr. Phil!

We were super excited earlier this month when our client, Patricia of MotherinLawHell.com, told us that she was going to be on Dr. Phil’s show.  Woo!  That’s amazing to start.  But when we found out her website was going to be displayed on Dr. Phil’s “big screen” we were even more excited. National television? Syndicated even? Yes, please.

Last Friday the episode aired and I made sure to record it for posterity. Full disclosure: I don’t watch Dr. Phil often (ok, ever), but I was more than happy to watch it that day! And according to Patricia, the Dr. Phil staff “LOVE the design!” and think “it’s so FUN!”.  Yay! We’re thrilled to hear that since we pride ourselves on bold and happy designs. We do fun. Come and knock on our door, Dr. Phil’s staff. Anytime! smile

Yelp Goodness

Island Style Cafe (4/5) on Yelp

I had breakfast here with Lyn P., who recommended it and really, really enjoyed it. The place is really unassuming and since I rarely venture into Tierrasanta, I'd never have known it was there…
