Premature Cake

Things I Learned This Weekend—The Condensed Version:

1. If ever there were to be a full-grown, adult-type instant love child of suzie & tim, I am she.  If there were a suzie to tim continuum, I’m smack in the middle.

2. Cheyenne has no problems asking total strangers things you just don’t ask total strangers.  And the girl can walk, man.

3. mikey can work a pelt.

4. We remember the 21st night in September. Love was changing the minds of pretenders. While chasing the clouds away.

5. Krix rocks the Cruise Director position.  The woman gets IHOP done.  And she has disco ball feet.

6.  Fran & Wendy like the nightlife. They like to boogie on the disco round. Yeah.

7.  Boobs hold more alcohol, so the girls could drink more.

8.  Looking for men is like playing Whack-a-Mole.

9.  If you see feathers, I was there.

10. It will forever and always be about the Chocolate Cake.  There shall be no Cake before it’s time.

And so far, this is one of my favorite pics of the weekend. More to follow… in the morning, when I’m conscious.

Next Stop: Oprah! Moxie Client on Dr. Phil!

We were super excited earlier this month when our client, Patricia of MotherinLawHell.com, told us that she was going to be on Dr. Phil’s show.  Woo!  That’s amazing to start.  But when we found out her website was going to be displayed on Dr. Phil’s “big screen” we were even more excited. National television? Syndicated even? Yes, please.

Last Friday the episode aired and I made sure to record it for posterity. Full disclosure: I don’t watch Dr. Phil often (ok, ever), but I was more than happy to watch it that day! And according to Patricia, the Dr. Phil staff “LOVE the design!” and think “it’s so FUN!”.  Yay! We’re thrilled to hear that since we pride ourselves on bold and happy designs. We do fun. Come and knock on our door, Dr. Phil’s staff. Anytime! smile

Yelp Goodness

Island Style Cafe (4/5) on Yelp

I had breakfast here with Lyn P., who recommended it and really, really enjoyed it. The place is really unassuming and since I rarely venture into Tierrasanta, I'd never have known it was there…
